PGMA’s Gift for Manny Pacquiao
Again, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao made the Filipinos proud for his victory against Joshua Clottey.
It was celebrated by millions of Filipinos worldwide.
He was called by the Palace to meet with President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo together with her husband First Gentleman Atty. Jose Miguel Arroyo.
“Congratulations! Thank you for doing our country proud,” the President told Pacquiao.
A three-layered ginger-barako coffee-chocolate cake was given to Manny Pacquiao, which was especially prepared by Palace chefs Kristen Mae Andres and Lilibeth Biliones.
Each concentric round layer of the cake, which weighed 12 kilos and stood 11 inches tall, was colored red, blue and white to symbolize the colors of the Philippine flag.
