He is Jovit Baldivino, a very simple and humble guy from Batangas, Philippines who sang “Faithfully” by Journey, his masterpiece in Pilipinas Got Talent show of ABS-CBN.
Although the piece was sang originally by Steve Perry, you can not tell their difference when you hear him sing.

It was quite a surprise for me seeing him on ABS-CBN last Saturday.
As he came out in front of the judges, he seems calm and remained humble. A look at his face may not impress you but wait until you hear his voice.
Who is Jovit Baldivino?
A 16-year-old boy with a simple ambition, to finish his studies. He is a fourth year high school student from Batangas, Philippines who stayed with his dad who’ve just recovered from tuberculosis and his jobless mom.
Jovit supported his family by selling siomai (chinese cuisine) in his town after his school hours.

i was so amazed upon watching jovit sings “FAITHFULLY” by journey. this is again another great performance of a filipino in the world of singing where you can discover a very fascinating and unusual voice which never before been heard in the field of singing.
if jovit will be given the chance, he will not only make music for everyone to hear but he will also bring pride and honor to his family and his country as well.
for jovit, im so proud of you because you are humble. Hopefully the good luck that awaits you in the future will soon be in your arms and when you are there already i’m sure that everything you touches will turn into gold.
